Ready, set, go!
We were back on the road and off unto another journey. This time it was further up Ireland to see what we could see. We ended up staying at a nice couple’s house who rented out part of their enormous house for air b&b. They had a really nice set up with two queen-sized beds in our bedroom and our semi-personal bathroom (Since we were staying at the same time as other air B&Bers though luckily we had separate areas) We ended up talking for a while before my parents went out to get food while I took a walk with our hostess Ann and her dog and friend’s dog. We walked over to meet William, her husband, then proceeded to walk over to their parent's house where we had a quick chat before walking back to the air b&b. After they got back, we had a quiet dinner and headed off to bed. We had a pretty nice night in the end and enjoyed a freshly made breakfast (And dad managed to get William to teach him how to play Hurley) After one finale talk and quick pack, we got back into the car and raced off again towards the semi-unknown.
The next place we managed to hook up was a 5 bedroom house with a view overlooking the ocean. It was a nice place with good sized beds, a pretty large living room, as well as two bathrooms and a game room upstairs. (Which I sadly never ended up using :( ) We booked two nights there and enjoyed them to the fullest. We went to Blarney Castle, saw a rainbow road of houses, and enjoyed the view off the balcony. Once we had had our fair share of r and r, it was getting ready, set everything in the car, and go off to our next rest stop.
It was a pretty good distance but eventually we reached Northern Ireland, which apparently is its own separate country since it is still part of the U.K. We ended up getting a place that was a good size and hight, Though the only problem is that the hostess gave no exact directions on how to get to the air B&B so we ended up waiting a good half hour or so waiting for her to come with her car and direct us. Another problem we experienced was that the WiFi was terrible when it rained so we ended up doing nothing for a while until my cousin called and she let me use a spare room in her house so I could play with him via the internet. Though other than that, everything was pretty nice. The kitchen was a good size, the bathrooms and bedrooms were all clean, and it had an amazing view in the courtyard. So once we rested for the rest of the day, we decided the next day to go out and see the cliffs of Moher and that's what we did.
The trip wasn’t too far away so we would have made it relatively early if we had left earlier in the day so we ended up getting there pretty later though not that it mattered. The fog and rain were so bad that you could hardly see much of it but we still stayed for a while. We also got incredibly lucky that when we purchased our ticket to park in a smaller lesser-known area, he gave us an extra day ticket since the weather was so bad. So we came the next day it was okay. There wasn’t to much rail and the fog was mostly gone so we decided to walk from one end to the other which was not to bad and it was worth it. The cliffs were stunning and rainbows were appearing from thin air. There was even a guy who got wild ravens to land on his arm. Eventually, we had enough of the cliffs so we headed back home to watch some shows while the weather was clear. (Weather equaled bad WiFi)
