I have finally made it to London Pt. 4 (This is the last part, I promise)
Today was a really amazing day. At first I had my doubts about going to a park. Though once we got closer and closer to the destination, my expectations where pretty high. There was beautiful trees everywhere with a deer grazing in a field of light gold grass all in one spot on the way so I was pretty stunned. Once we arrived at the destination, my expectations were more than filled. Right at the parking lot there were tons of dear grazing on grass, crossing the lake, and the bridge to get to the other side with people five to ten feet away. There was three type s of dear that I observed. Deer with a pure dark brown coat, deer with light brown coat and white spots, and dear with a dark reddish coat. There was even an albino deer which is pretty rare. The amazing thing was that the deer were tame in the way that we could be five feet away from the deer and they wouldn’t scurry away but not tame in the sense that if you were to close, they would jump into the pond to get across instead of taking the bridge.
Once we were done watching/ “feeding” the deer, we headed over to the playground. The parents had their talk time and I helped watch our friends six year old. This meant following him around to make sure he didn’t get hurt, engaging in his activities, and getting him out from the occasional rough spot. Even though I had to watch over the small ones, I noticed that there was somethings in the park that looked like older kids would and could enjoy. For instance, logs that were crossed in every which way that went a pretty high height. After the park, we were all pretty tired so we headed our separate ways. Our friends went back to their house to engage in some sleep while we headed back to the hotel. (Meaning I watched YouTube and my parent slept for a while) Once we had our down time, we meet for dinner hours later, discussed the usual topics, (The trip, school, etc.) then went to back to the hotel for bed.
The following two days were mostly resting and packing in preparation of the trip to Ireland. Sadly, we also had a problem with the car. It was giving off a bad petrol smell which mom and dad couldn’t stand so we managed to find a repair shop in those two days who fixed it for a reasonable price. Once we had our day of rest and a day of packing/brownies, we had breakfast with our friends for one last meal. It was a sad meal with tears traded both ways. Once we finished our pancakes and bacon, we then started up the car and headed out to the unknown.
