The snow fell on the house

The snow fell gently on to the small little house Where no one stirred, not even a mouse With the floor made of rich pine Which was straighter than my spine With the walls made of brick That was two feet thick Though it was silent The smell there was vibrant With the smell of roast turkey And a little beef jerky The snow fell hard Like glass hitting you like a shard With the snow this large It could sink a large barge Then like a bolt of lightning Which was more than frightening The house disappeared Which is quite weird But with the house gone And it nearing dawn All that was left Was a small birds nest

The People  Gave Thanks Caught right in between This holiday plight With Halloween to the left And Christmas to the right Thanksgiving's the day Where people are grateful Where fellows are nice And never are hateful The table is filled With turkey and pie With cranberry sauce And bread of the rye This day lets the people Relax and eat food So they can enjoy The holiday mood

The people gave thanks for Jesus

      I stood over the vast amount of loving people as they sang their sweet song with melodious tunes. I watch as they lit the dark green Christmas tree that was as tall as a three-story building. From my viewing point, I could just taste the large turkey with the side of red, smooth cranberry sauce. Once they finished their song of thanks that could make a wolf turn into a puppy, they went over to the table that could hold up the Titanic. Once they were all seated I moved into the open spot at the end. Though they could not see me, they still believe that I am there and with them. Once I sat down on the red rocking chair with gold carvings, they village leader with a feather of a red parrot started his prayer and it went something like this "Dear Jesus, thank you for this wonderful meal. Please bless our food in Jesus name we pray, Amen." Once the leader was finished with his beautiful praise, they began their feast that cou...
