Santa burped

Image
As Saint Nick burped his unusual burp, that was so loud a fog horn couldn't compare, the entire room went silent. The room was large and spacious with walls of wrapping paper and floors of candy cane. (For better grip) The room was full of machines with colors of red and green each making toys faster then you could imagine. Anyways, after Saint Nick burped, all the elves, with big ears and even bigger hearts, stopped working immediately and lined up like soldiers in the army. (Santa's burp was his way of calling attention) When the elves finally all lined up, Santa gave his best speech ever to motivate his elves to work hard and it went something like this "(insert great speech)." When Santa had finished his speech, the elves spirits went through the roof. They were so motivated that they began to work like Christmas depended on them. (When it really did)

The Nutcracker and the Four Realms rating. By Calvin.B

Have you seen the reversion of the Nutcracker? Overall this revision of the Nutcracker was well done. The characters were well thought out and they provided some good twists on characters. This movie had a smooth run, though there were some parts that could have been thought out better, though the movie was pleasant to the eye. The reason I say that the movie had a smooth run is that of three reasons. First, that the pacing was nice and smooth and stayed in one seen for a good amount of time which made it easy to remember. Second, is that the camera movements really conveyed the seen as well as the emotion. The third reason is that there was no overpowering music that affected the perception of the movie. I also said that this movie had some parts that could have been better, so let me explain. First of all, everything in the story is really convenient. What I mean by that is that when the lead actress Cara is going to go to war, she somehow goes straight into a war costu...

Reflection of King Kamehameha the Great

Today we talked about Kamehameha the Great and his mission to conquer all of the Hawaiian islands. Basically, he got the war god from his uncle, used an alliance with a British man named Captin Vancouver, and destroyed all of his relatives to conquer all the Hawaiian islands except for Kawai which he made a peace treaty with. When we did our first Socratic circle, (the one without me in it) it was really boring and there was a lot of awkward pauses, but when we did my group, there was a lot of good conversation with a little of it is people talking over each other.
